Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) added 1.03% to $14.73 with over 4.09 million shares. Eisai Inc. and Pfizer Inc announced last week that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a new once-daily, higher-dose Aricept (donepezil HCl) 23 mg tablet for the treatment of moderate-to-severe Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
So far this year, the stock has fallen over 20%. The market capitalization of the stock stands at $118.81 billion. The stock is approaching its 52-week low of $14.
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTIC)) declined 4.76% to $0.400 on a volume of 1.38 million shares. The company today announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell, subject to customary closing conditions, $4.06 million of securities to an accredited investor in a private offering pursuant to Section 4(2) of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
