US Stocks at One-Year Low (SAY, VICL, DVOX)
Satyam Computer Services Limited(ADR) (NYSE:SAY) surged 1.80% to $3.96 on over 6.39 million shares. The Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is close to filing civil fraud charges against Indian software maker Satyam Computer Services Limited in connection with a $1 billion accounting scheme.
Also, Engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro has sold 2.4 percent stake in Mahindra Satyam in September, the outsourcer said in a statement to the stock exchange.
The stock created its fresh 52-week low of $3.76.
Vical Incorporated (NASDAQ:VICL) added 0.45% to $2.24 on over 1.15 million shares after it made its new 52-week low of $2.19. Volumes were at 1.15 million shares- 1.25X its average daily volume.
Last week, the company announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 15,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $2.25 per share. The offering is expected to close on or about September 29, 2010, subject to customary closing conditions.
In the past one year of trading sessions, the stock went down more than 44%.
DynaVox, Inc. (NASDAQ:DVOX) plunged 32.97% to $5.44 on over 3.50 million shares after the maker of speech software for use by people with language impairments took back its forecast for fiscal 2011. The Company plans to report first quarter 2011 financial results on Thursday, November 11, 2010, after market close.
Also, Piper Jaffray downgraded the stock to Neutral and reduced its price target on the stock by $2 to $18.
So far, the market capitalization of the stock stands at $51.07 million and average daily volume of the stock is 149K shares. Today, the stock made its fresh 52-week low of $5.38.
