Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE:RSG) dropped 3.04% to $29.04. Net quarterly income was $134.2 million, or 35 cents a share, compared with $120.5 million, or 32 cents, a year ago.
Total revenue declined to $2.06 billion, versus $2.07 billion a year ago, the company said.
The company had an adjusted profit of $172.8 million, or 45 cents per share, compared with analysts’ forecast of 46 cents per share, according to Thomson Reuters.
The company reaffirmed its full-year adjusted share guidance of $1.69 to $1.71, while raising its 2010 free cash flow guidance by $50 million to $800 million.
Fluor Corporation (NEW) (NYSE:FLR) soared 9.50% to $54.53. The company said late Thursday that it had a net loss of $54 million, or 30 cents a share, in the quarter ended September 30. That compares to net earnings of $162 million, or 89 cents a share, a year earlier.
Over the past 52-week, the stock had traded within the range of $39.77-$56.34. At Friday`s closing market price, the market capitalization of the company stood at $9.75 billion. The stock made its fresh 52-week high of $56.34.
JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE:JKS) lost 4.08% and closed at $35.99. This week, the company said it earned $1.75 per share a share on an adjusted basis in its first-quarter on revenue $215.0 million, way ahead of estimated profit of 79 cents on revenue of $153.30 million.
The company sees its fourth quarter revenue to be $210-220, topping analyst estimates of $162.44 million. For the fourth quarter of 2010, JinkoSolar expects total solar product shipments to be in the range of 130 MW to 140 MW with module shipments expected to be between 100 MW to 110 MW.
Over the past 52-week, the stock had traded within the range of $8.23-$41.75. At Friday`s closing market price, the market capitalization of the company stood at $3.13 billion.
